Industrial distributors report that industrial demand has been relatively flat due to high temperatures. However, demand for Dynamic boards has remained steady recently. These products are not only used in industrial products and automotive BMS projects but also in other applications. We recommend paying close attention to the demand for the 1318 series, such as product models 1318123-1 and 1318124-1.

MOLEX: Product prices may increase for high-end products due to technological upgrades
(1) Price
The global connector market in 2025 will be driven by demand from sectors such as automotive, data centers, and 5G, with prices remaining stable. However, prices for high-end products (such as high-speed connectors) may increase due to technological upgrades. In particular, in the automotive satellite antenna market, Molex holds approximately 9% of the global market share (2025 reference data), with the market expected to grow to 2.5 billion yuan by 2030.
Raw material costs: Prices for raw materials such as copper and plastic fluctuate minimally, having a limited impact on connector prices; however, the instability of metal raw materials in 2025 may cause fluctuations in connector prices.

TEXAS INSTRUMENTS:16-bit ADC class control chips rise 28% in price
(1) Price
In August, TI raised prices, with the industrial and automotive sectors being hit hardest, while consumer electronics saw relatively moderate increases. Specifically, prices for 16-bit ADC chips in industrial control applications rose by approximately 28%, prices for automotive-grade PMIC chips in automotive electronics increased by 18%-25%, and prices for fast-charging ICs in consumer electronics grew by 5%-15%.
This large-scale price hike may indicate that TI is shifting its strategy from "market share first" to "profit first." However, given the current weak demand in the industrial and automotive sectors, if downstream customers resist the higher prices, this could further intensify price competition in the market.

TPS62A02DRLR is a high-efficiency synchronous buck converter designed for small PLC modules, low-voltage buck conversion for battery-powered devices, and point-of-load power supplies for wireless routers, IP cameras, and solid-state drives (SSDs).

NXP Semiconductors:Inventory is rising
(1) Demand
The spot market remained generally flat, mainly relying on demand from the two major sectors of automobiles and industry.
(2) Stock
The number of shipments arriving at the agent's end has increased, resulting in a significant rise in inventory levels. Among these, inventory levels for general-purpose MCUs and interface ICs remain relatively high, with short delivery times. Automotive-grade components, discontinued parts, and hard-to-replace models continue to be in short supply, with some products experiencing price inversions. For specific automotive-grade components, delivery times have reached up to 8-12 weeks.
(3) Popular Materials
In August, NXP's popular models were dominated by i.MX application processors (especially the MCIMX6G2CVM05AB) and automotive-grade MCUs, with significant demand driven by industrial and automotive applications.
We recommend monitoring the long-term supply and demand dynamics for the i.MX 6/8 series and S32K series. Models such as the i.MX 8M Mini and 8M Plus are seeing a recovery in demand across smart security, industrial vision, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
The TJA1028TK/5V0/20/1, a LIN transceiver and standard component for body nodes, is currently available in the market with a reasonable inventory.

Microchip Technology:Prices for some general-purpose materials are inverted
(1) Price
The spot price of general-purpose materials is now lower than or close to the official price, and some materials are still in a market inversion state.
(2) Delivery date
The delivery time for general-purpose MCUs remains at 4-6 weeks, while Ethernet and CAN can take up to 12 weeks.
(3) Stock
Traders' inventory is generally rolling, with only a small portion of slow-moving materials. Inventory levels for general-purpose materials such as the KSZ series (e.g., KSZ series Ethernet chips) and USB series are relatively high, with ample stock of general-purpose part numbers and fast delivery times.
(4) Demand
Overall demand remains weak, with consumer electronics and industrial control MCUs still in a slump. The automotive and communications markets are gradually recovering, with automotive Ethernet, USB-PD, FPGA-SoC, and other segments showing signs of a more noticeable recovery.
(5) Popular Materials
In August, the MCU/microcontroller market was relatively active, with the ATMEGA328P-AU and ATMEGA128A-AU models seeing increased demand due to the recovery of the industrial market. Currently, these products are in ample supply with stable prices.
Automotive-grade chips, such as the MCP2515 and MCP2551 series (MCP2515-I/ST), are CAN controllers primarily used in automotive electronics and industrial communication industries. The MCP2551-I/SN is a CAN transceiver applied in automotive-grade vehicle networks and BMS systems, with high demand for use in conjunction with the MCP2515.

ANALOG DEVICES:Price inversion phenomenon improves
(1) Price
In the spot market, after rebounding in the third quarter of 2024, the overall market has stabilized, with localized hotspots mainly appearing in hard-to-replace materials and materials subject to production halts. Some products have experienced delivery delays and reduced shipments. In the first half of the year, due to the temporary impact of tariffs, prices for a small portion of ADI's general-purpose materials increased, but most returned to normal levels thereafter, with price inversion improving.
(2) Stock
In the third quarter, inventory increased by $72 million sequentially to support the recovery of the cycle. Days in inventory decreased to 160 days, and channel weeks decreased.
(3) Revenue
On August 20, the company announced its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 (ended August 2, 2025), with revenue of $2.88 billion, representing a 9% increase from the previous quarter and a 25% increase year-over-year. All end-market segments achieved double-digit year-over-year growth.
Industrial business revenue was approximately $1.285 billion, accounting for 45% of total revenue, with a 12% increase from the previous quarter and a 23% increase year-over-year.
Automotive business accounted for 30% of quarterly revenue, down 1% quarter-over-quarter and up 22% year-over-year.
Communications business accounted for 13% of quarterly revenue, up 18% quarter-over-quarter and up 40% year-over-year.
Consumer business accounted for 13% of quarterly revenue, up 16% quarter-over-quarter and up 21% year-over-year.
ADI expects fourth-quarter revenue to reach $3 billion, plus or minus $100 million, with revenue growth expected to continue across industrial, communications, and consumer businesses, with the industrial business growing the fastest and the automotive business expected to decline slightly. The company's strong performance and continued growth outlook, particularly in the industrial market, position 2025 as a year of strong recovery for ADI.

DNMICRON:Focusing production capacity on the needs of high-end local customers

HARTING:Shipments will be controlled starting in August

Shipping will be controlled starting in August, and normal shipping is expected to resume after September 30. Currently, the original factory can accept orders normally, but shipping is controlled.

JAEGER:Demand is expected to increase starting in September
(1) Demand
Agents report that May, June, July, and August are the off-season for the industry. They predict that overall demand will begin to increase in September, primarily due to the trend toward automotive electronics, the development of electric vehicles (EVs),and autonomous driving technology, which are driving demand for high-voltage/high-speed connectors. In September, it is recommended to pay close attention to customer demand for high-voltage/high-speed connectors in the electric vehicle market.

Hirose Electric:Q1 sales increased by 9.1% year-on-year
(1) Revenue
Hirose Electric's Q1 (April-June 2025) results are as follows:
Overall sales for Q1 increased by 9.1% year-on-year, but operating profit was -4.2%. The operating profit margin was 20.1%. Orders increased by 7.3% year-on-year and 8.9% quarter-on-quarter. This was mainly due to strong performance in the consumer and mobile device markets, as well as the smartphone market, with the automotive and mobile-related markets also performing strongly.
Due to signs of recovery in the industrial machinery sector, in addition to the developments above, the company will also focus on the consumer, automotive, and semiconductor markets moving forward.

KYOCERA AVX:Starting September 19, all products will increase in price by 5%

Due to rising raw material and labor costs, starting September 19, we expect a 5% increase in shipping prices for our entire product line (based on the original factory shipping date, not the order date). Some hot-selling materials are subject to shipping restrictions by suppliers, and market prices may increase by 5-10%.

The system is configured with six power modules, a 3+3 redundant architecture, and advanced power rack controllers, achieving peak efficiency of up to 97.5% at half load. Compared to traditional systems, electrical energy conversion losses are reduced by over 60%, effectively reducing heat output, lowering cooling requirements, and saving energy costs.

HBM market enters a new phase of deep integration
